I am giving this place 4 stars because the rv park was cozy and the bathrooms, showers and laundry we old but very clean. The managemet was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice stay.
My husband and I found the Arbor Inn Motel online when we were searching for a place to stay in Oakridge. Based on the website and a few positive reviews, we made reservations for three nights. When we checked in to our room last week, we were sorely disappointed. We weren't expecting anything fancy, but it smelled very musty the minute we walked in. While the room was very large, it was not well maintained. The shower dripped and was missing most of the calking. There were cobwebs under the table and bench. At least one of the kitchen cabinets was missing a knob, and there was no oven as we had been told when my husband called to ask before we came. When I tried to cook a quesadilla on the stovetop it was difficult because there was only one foot between the burner and the hood fan- very tight! I was glad I had brought my own pan as they didn't have much available to cook with. After about an hour of being there, my husband went to talk to the manager to see if we could be reimbursed if we only stayed one night. She said she would discuss it with her husband. Finally, my husband and I decided to leave and stay with family nearby instead. When we told them we were leaving, they said they could not reimburse us because our room was featured on their website and it was their "popular" room. We had paid $175 and didn't get any of it back. We were even more disappointed when we checked the reviews again on their website and someone else wrote about leaving earlier than planned and they were reimbursed 50% for the night they didn't stay. That seemed very fair, but the managers were not willing to do that for us. We will be telling all our family and friends to stay elsewhere if they ever visit Oakridge, Oregon.
OLD out DATED and EXPENSIVE.
Not clean at all. Spend the money and try the Best Western down the street.
