So caring and the food was perfect and delicious to start the day. Had the veggie scramble and the brisket and hash while they were smoking meats in the background.. mmm!
Wonderful food. My mom and I were in our way home from a camping trip and decided to stop here. Kind and quick service. My mom got the tri tip sandwich with Mac n cheese and I got the salad. 2 vegan options and several vegetarian.
Really good food, patio Beer Garden (NW Craft Beer and Ciders on tap), in-house smoked meats (pulled pork) and free ribs with a $5 pint - gotta love happy hour! Vegetarian options that are clearly made by someone who understands veggie food should taste good with enough organic ingredients that I'm happy. Enough selection of well prepared meats (brisket, tri-tip, pulled pork - smoked and prepared in house) that everyone else is happy too. Becoming somewhat of a regular as this is my favorite spot on the drive from Crater Lake to Eugene. These guys accommodated a whole bike tour this morning when we came in for breakfast: eggs with quinoa, avocados, roasted veggies, and some sort of almond sauce thing that makes me happy, with homemade biscuits with maple butter and homemade jam, (can be made Gluten Free or Vegan, but I just got it like it was). The boy ate a massive plate of biscuits and sausage gravy, and is coming back for the pulled pork. Super good coffee - Eugene roaster called Tailored. Thanks Gary and Lynda!
Very unfriendly atmosphere. Crappy attitude. At the walk up window. Ignored for 10 minutes. There were two people behind the counter. One did absolutely nothing the 15 minutes I was there. The other gruffly said I'll serve you after I take the orders of the 3 people inside. So far, all I have said is, "Hello." After 5 more minutes I left without ordering. Might be the best BBQ in the world, but I'll never know.
Best homemade biscuits I've ever had. Make them into a breakfast sandwich & you've got heaven on earth. Warm, friendly service too. (Thanks for being kind to the stray guys. That's awesome).
