This is a beautiful, loving, small-town church, filled with God's love. The pastor's sermons are mostly topical in style and aimed at pointing people to Jesus and living in the room grace. The preaching isn't going to compete with some of the master expositors in the mega-churches, but the message is authentic and biblical, and the pastor truly cares about every member of the congregation and about the community. The worship music is mostly dated (very few songs are less than 50 years old), but they have recently begun a shift toward a more blended style of some contemporary worship music and some traditional hymns at each service, and they do a great job of keeping the worship directed at God for God, instead of making it just another sensual experience for the congregation. We love this little church.
